FOUR homes were burgled in Bicester in what police believe are linked incidents.

The homes were raided between March 20 and Saturday.

In the first incident, on March 20, two men broke into a house in Avon Crescent at 3.40am by forcing a conservatory window.

But the burglars were disturbed by the occupiers and nothing was stolen.

One burglar is described as a white man, about 6ft tall, aged in his late 30s to early 40s with a medium build and possibly sporting a beard.

On Friday, between 3.45pm and 5.20pm, a door was forced opened to a house in Keble Road and electrical items stolen.

On the same day, between 11am and 6.20pm, the glass panes of French doors were damaged and burglars broke into a house in Villiers Road, where, this time, jewellery was stolen.

Then, at 10.41pm on Saturday burglars broke into a house in Bucknell Road, Bicester, by fishing out door keys through a cat flap, but they were disturbed and fled.

The would-be thieves are described as two white men, with English accents. Both are about 6ft tall with dark trimmed hair.
