CHILDREN wearing hats made of eggs and chicks paraded in front of their parents and grandparents to celebrate Easter.
The 24 pupils at Freeland Pre-School near Witney walked round the school playground with their home-made bonnets.
Sarah Simpson, from Freeland, watched her three-year-old son Kieran and said: “It was a lovely occasion. The children all looked great with their Easter decorated bonnets on.”
Kieran, who has a 10-month-old sister called Arabella, said: “It was fun because I got a chocolate Easter egg.”
Pre-school management committee chairwoman Nikki Hamilton said: “It was a celebration of Easter and something a little bit different for the kids. They drew or stuck on chicks and eggs at home with their parents. The kids really enjoyed it and there was a good turnout there to see them.”
Her four-year-old son Dougie added: “We love Easter.”
