OXFORD MAGISTRATES

Peter Pennington, 30, of Teal Close, Oxford admitted handling stolen goods – vehicle registration plates – in Oxford on April 23. Fined £70 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Karl Doman, 29, of Oriel Court, Didcot, admitted drink-driving in Oriel Court, Didcot, on February 5. Had 108 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving while disqualified, without a licence and without insurance. Admitted driving without insurance while disqualified in Jubilee Way, Didcot, on February 4. Sent to prison for four months and banned from driving for four years.

Richard Pipkin, 41, of George Moore Close, Oxford, admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods, a Natwest bank card, at Oxford Classic Wines, Cowley Road, Oxford on December 31. Admitted fraud by making a false representation, using a stolen card intending to make a gain of £78.16, in St Clement’s, Oxford on December 31. Also admitted fraud by making a false representation, using a stolen card intending to make a gain of £80.26, in Cowley Road, Oxford, on December 31.

Konrad Elwart, 21, of Stratfield Road, Kidlington, admitted drink-driving in Woodstock Road, Oxford, on March 8. Had 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

Nathan Grindal, 34, of Broadway, Didcot admitted drink-driving in Ernest Road, Didcot, on March 8. Had 65 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

Christopher Masson, 24, of no fixed address, admitted possession of cannabis in Palmer Road, Faringdon, on January 28. Fined £30, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £50 costs.

John Hudson, 40, of Grebe Close, Abingdon, admitted possession of cannabis in Boxhill Walk, Abingdon, on March 9. Fined £80, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Benjamin Smith, 20, of Whitecross, Wootton, near Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Bath Street, Abingdon, on March 9. Fined £80, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 in costs.

Dennis King, 65, of Andersey Way, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating in Andersey Way, Abingdon, on January 18. Sent to prison for 24 weeks.

Patrick Kinyera, 19, of Field Avenue, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Gillians Park, Bulrush Road, Oxford, on September 12. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £30 costs.

James Howkins, 29, of Bullingdon Prison, near Bicester, admitted possessing heroin and cocaine, both Class A drugs, in Oxford on January 3. Given a four-week prison sentence because of previous drugs offences and because no community sentence was available.

Reanna Killick, 20, of Coverley Road, Hollow Way, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on March 4 by failing to report for supervision. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Paul Coffin, 37, of Simon House, Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted stealing chocolate bars from Sainsbury’s in Cowley Road, Oxford, on November 23. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £21 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

Alexander Howells, 21, of Dovehouse Close, Eynsham, near Witney, admitted failing to give information as to the driver of a vehicle alleged to be guilty of an offence in Eynsham between December 24 and January 21. Given a 21-day driving ban and told to pay a £200 fine. Also told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Zak Blackman, 21, of Bartholomew Road, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on November 4 by failing to follow work instructions and arriving late on site. Fined £100.

Charmaine Hatch, 33, of Field Avenue, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance in High Street, Abingdon, on August 8. Also admitted possessing cocaine, a Class A drug, at Abingdon police station, in Colwell Drive, on the same date. Convicted of taking a vehicle without the owners’ consent in Thornley Close, Abingdon, on the same date. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, fined £220 and given a nine-month driving ban. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Zakir Mumtaz, 25, of Marston Road, Marston, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 28 by failing to attend unpaid work on March 1. Fined £200.

Stephen Howard, 55, of Craft’s End, Chilton, Didcot, admitted failing to give information as to the identity of a driver of a vehicle alleged to be guilty of an offence in Banbury between August 12 and September 9. Fined £250 and told to pay a £25 victims’ surcharge and £60 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
