HE spooked visitors from behind a robotic mask.

But after a startling introduction from Alex Weresch, 11, parents learned about the pupil’s vision of the future.

He greeted visitors at the opening of the Days of Tomorrow exhbition at Abingdon’s Carswell Community Primary School.

The year 6 pupil said: “We were basing our work on the futurists and instead of doing ordinary sculptures, we thought we could make the sculptures more interesting and scare people.

Headteacher Tina Farr said: “The art project was done in class.

“The children have used their problem solving skills to improve their work and try out different styles.”
