Stagecoach is diverting a number of its services - 1,12,10,3,8,9 & Tube via Iffley Rd and Donnington Bridge.
Councillor Tony Brett, who lives in Cowley Road, said traffic was queued from The Plain roundabout up to Longwall Street.
