Gary Maguire appeared at Oxford Crown Court
A butcher accused of biting off half a clubber’s ear has told a jury it would have been “impossible” for him to do so because he wears dentures.
Gary Maguire, of Clifford Road, Blackpool, denies one count of wounding Ryan Knight with intent in Banbury’s Sound Exchange nightclub on March 3 last year.
Yesterday, at Oxford Crown Court, Maguire, 38, said: “It’s impossible for me to bite into an ear, an apple, or anything.”
The trial continues.
