  • John Carey, 52, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Bampton on April 3. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Daniel Rozenberg, 30, of Mortimer Road, Oxford convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver alleged to be guilty of an offence between February and March 2013. Fined £250, a £25 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
  • Karl Vanderhyde, 47, of Frensham Close, Banbury, admitted producing three mature cannabis plants in Banbury on February 13. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Matthew Cook, 27, of Clarkes Court, Banbury, admitted threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Banbury on February 2. Fined £130, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Michael Ellis, 27, of Merton Street, Banbury, admitted threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Banbury on February 2. Fined £130, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Alan Nulty, 29, of Horsefair, Chipping Norton, admitted shoplifting a bottle of pink Pinot Grigio wine worth £4.99 from Co-op in High Street, Chipping Norton, on March 21. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Aaron O’Rourke, 25, of Beaumaris Close, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with police direction to leave High Street, Banbury on March 22 and not return within 32 hours. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Andrew Staddon, 18, of Little Lees, Charlbury, admitted drink driving in Charlbury Road, Finstock, on March 22. Had 50 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit 35 micrograms. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
  • Stephen Witham, 60, of The Beeches Mobile Home Park, Old London Road, Chipping Norton, admitted shoplifting spirits worth £105.85 from Co-op in Chipping Norton on January 25. Fined £70, a £20 surcharge, and £40 costs.
  • James Adam, 65, of Millers Lane, Hornton, Banbury, admitted making indecent images of children between 2010 and 2012. He was given a 20-week prison sentence suspended for two years, and ordered to do activity and supervision requirements. He was told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. He was also told to sign the sex offenders register and a sexual offences prevention order was also made by the court.
  • Luke Southam, 21, of The Bungalows, Cotswold Crescent, Chipping Norton, admitted sending text messages which conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety in Chipping Norton between November 18 and November 19. Community order made with activity and supervision requirements. Restraining order made. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
  • Joseph Abayomi, 20, of Park End, Bodicote, Banbury, admitted taking a train from Banbury without a ticket on June 29. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £4.50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Maqbool Aluptageen, 32, of Woodfield, Banbury, admitted taking a train from Leamington Spa to Banbury without a ticket on August 11. Fined £100 and told to pay £7.20 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Spencer Anderson, 20, of Osbourne Close, Grovelands, Kidlington, admitted travelling on Chiltern railways between Banbury and Bicester without paying the £4.50 fare on June 26. Fined £60 and ordered to pay £4.50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Dionne Aseidu, 23, of Warwick Road, Banbury, was convicted of travelling on a train between Bicester North and Banbury without a ticket on June 25. Fined £200 and told to pay £4.50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Stephanie Blackler, 19, of Bernwood Road, Bicester, admitted travelling on Chiltern railway service between Bicester North and Banbury without paying the £4.50 fare on July 26. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £4.50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Christopher Gallagher, 41, of Arden Close, Drayton, near Banbury, was convicted of travelling on a train between Oxford and Banbury without a ticket on August 23. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £10.10 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Daniel Harris, 36, of Birch Road, Ambrosden, near Bicester, was convicted of travelling on a train at Bicester on August 2 without a ticket. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £4.50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Haseer Iftikhar, 24, of Fergusson Road, Banbury, was convicted of travelling on a train at Banbury without a ticket on June 19. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £8.80 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Edward Joines, 19, of Berkeley Close, Banbury, was convicted of travelling on a Chiltern railway service on June 29 without a ticket. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £10.10 compensation, a £40 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Grant King, 19, of Ruskin Walk, Bicester, admitted travelling on a train at Banbury without a ticket on July 20. Fined £60 and ordered to pay £4.50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
  • Simon Phillips, 40, of Manor Road, Banbury, was convicted of travelling on a train at Banbury without a ticket on August 8. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £4.50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
