BANBURY MAGISTRATES

Peter Clogger, 68, of High Street, Finstock, admitted drink-driving in High Street, Finstock on March 23. Had 102 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £2,000, a £120 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 28 months.

Aaron French, 23, of Howard Road, Banbury, admitted possession of Class B drug cannabis in Overthorpe Road, Banbury, on March 23. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Sebastian Pilat, 34, of Abbey, Road, Witney, admitted drink-driving in the car park on Minster Riding, Minster Lovell, on March 23. Fined £260, a £26 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Cameron Wilkins, 18, of Reedmace Road, Bicester, admitted possession of Class B drug cannabis in Brill Hill, Buckinghamshire, and also Reedmace Road, Bicester on February 26. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Kurt O’Sullivan, 29, of Philcote Street, Deddington, admitted common assault at Masters Kebabs, High Street, Banbury, on December 8. Community order made with activity and supervision requirements. Told to do 80 hours of unpaid community work and pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, and £200 costs.

Andrei-Bogdan Opris, 24, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting alcohol and confectionery worth £449.90 from Tesco in Pringle Drive, Bicester, on March 17. Fined £75, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Stephen Rushmer, 49, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cowley Road, Oxford on April 8. Fined £100 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Krystian Hajduk, 26, of Colwell Drive, Witney, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Colwell Drive, Witney, on December 24. Fined £180, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Brad Shields, 18, of Wadham Close, Bicester, admitted two burglaries after stealing non-alcoholic drinks from the Six Bells pub in Bicester and alcohol from Bicester Rugby Club on September 22. Fined a total of £200, £65 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £120 costs.

David Lazell, 35, of Roman Way, Bicester, convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Roman way, Bicester, on December 5. Community order made with a 12-week curfew requirement. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £300 costs.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

Shane Loveridge, 20, of Mably Grove, Wantage, admitted purchasing or attempting to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 in Wantage on February 19. Also admitted stealing cans of deodorant worth £12.76 from Waitrose on April 9. Fined £80 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Robert Pyne, 40 of Oxford Homeless Pathways, Oxford, admitted stealing goods worth £110 from the Co-op in Cherwell Drive, Marston, Oxford, goods worth £96.35 from Martins, Oxford, on January 17, meat worth £64 from Marks and Spencer in Oxford Retail Park, Ambassador Avenue, Cowley, Oxford, on January 23, wine worth £41.94 from Majestic Wines, Banbury Road, Oxford, on October 24, and meat worth £80 from the Co-op in High Street, Woodstock, on February 5. Given a 12-week prison sentence because of repeat pattern of offending with 74 previous convictions for theft.

Susan Brown, 60, of St Georges Road, Wallingford, admitted speeding on a road with a 30mph speed limit in Headington Road, Oxford, on October 1. Given a six-month driving ban and fined £100. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs.

Emanuel Gomes, 36, of Barns Road, Oxford, admitted speeding on a road with a 30mph speed limit in Banbury Road, Oxford, on September 17. Fined £108 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given four penalty points.

Joanne Webb, 37, of Foresters Tower, Wood Farm Road, Headington, admitted stealing cosmetics worth £25.50 from the Body Shop in Oxford and cosmetics and coffee worth £31.43 from Oxfam in Oxford on March 5. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for 12 months made on February 18. Community order made with eight-week curfew requirement and told to pay £31.43 compensation and a £60 victims’ surcharge.

Stephen Rushmer, 49, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Catte Street, Oxford, on April 7 and Luther Street, Oxford, on March 18. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Adrian Barber, 23, of Riley Close, Abingdon, admitted drink driving on Saxton Road, Abingdon, on March 23. Had 42 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the legal limit of 35mg. Also admitted driving without insurance. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs. Banned from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

Daniel Hanwell, 20, of Marlborough Place, Banbury, admitted stealing £23 worth of clothes form Primark, Oxford, on April 4. Also admitted stealing £46.96 worth of DVDs from WH Smiths in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, and an X Box controller worth £29.99 from Game in the Westgate Centre on the same date. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.

Anthony Joyce, 26, of Redbridge Hollow Travellers Park, Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Abingdon on March 22. Fined £55 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs.

George Kirika, 22, of Ridgefield Road, Cowley, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in George Street, Oxford, on March 23. Given a community order requiring a three month curfew between 8pm and 6am on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and required to be electronically monitored. Ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs.

Stefan Wagner, 22, of Exbourne Road, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in Marcham Road, Abingdon, on March 22. Had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
