THESE cheeky chicks perched on bumpers and tweeted from bus windows in Long Hanborough yesterday.
But seven-year-old Rosa Cavana and her 10-year-old sister Carmen were not fazed by their mischievous antics.
The youngsters from Middle Barton scooped up 30 chicks on their route around the Oxford Bus and Morris Motors Museum.
Rosa said: “It was really good. I really liked it because you got to see all the buses and go on them. I got some sweeties and I found 30 chicks.”
The Middle Barton Primary School pupil found chicks hidden on wheels and on a driver’s seat.
She added: “It was quite difficult because they were quite small.”
Carmen said: “The buses were very old and it was interesting to see what it was like and what buses my grandfather went to school on.”
The bus museum in Main Road held free vintage bus rides yesterday and will next hold free bus rides on May 4.
