An elderly man was taken to hospital when a car crash closed the A4130 in both directions for two hours on Saturday.
The collision, involving a Fiat, a Volkswagen, and a Renault, happened at about 11.10am near the B4017 turn to Steventon.
Insp Paul Beaney said the man suffered a “medical episode”.
South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Gill Hodgetts said the patient was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.
