FAMILIES were out in force this year for Kingham’s annual Easter Monday duck race.
Hundreds of people turned out for the village event, at The Mill House, Station Road, near Chipping Norton.
From 11.30am to 2pm, a total of 40 races, each with 24 plastic ducks taking part, were held alongside a bouncy castle, games for the children and a hog roast for hungry contestants.

Sam Slack, from the peak district in Derbyshire, said his four-year-old daughter Lily came third in her race and had a great time.
He said: “She absolutely loved it and the weather was brilliant. It was a really, really good day.”
