A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash on the A34 this morning.

The collision – which involved a lorry, a car, and a motorcycle – happened on the slip road from the M40 to the A34 southbound at about 9.15am.

The Highways Agency has said the A34 is currently closed in both directions. Delays are also being reported.

Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Connie Primmer said the motorcyclist had been taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital but his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
