Witney MP and Prime Minister David Cameron visited Clifton Hampden yesterday to launch a £168m pothole fund.
Councils can bid for money from the Government pot to repair roads.
County Council leader Ian Hudspeth says Oxfordshire will bid for £5m – which he estimates will allow it to repair an extra 7,000 potholes.
