Toby Jones
FORMER Abingdon School pupil Toby Jones will play Captain Mainwaring in a new film of the BBC comedy Dad’s Army.
The actor, from Charlbury, will be directed in the film by Oliver Parker, who also directed him in the two St Trinian’s movies where he played the long-suffering bursar.
Bill Nighy will play Sergeant Wilson in the big screen adaptation.
