Immigration police visited a Chinese restaurant in Abingdon but found all the workers were employed legally.
A team of nine immigration officers went to the Cottage Imperial in Bridge Street about 6pm on Wednesday but had left within 15 minutes.
Home Office spokesman Richard Crowe said visits were based on intelligence.
