IT was all smiles, roses and posies for Imogen Everest, who was crowned as the May Queen yesterday at Eynsham Primary School.

The 11 year-old followed in the footsteps of her mum Elinor, 41, who was the school’s May Queen in 1984.

Imogen said: “It was good. My dress was beautiful and it was really fun.

“My favourite part of the day was the dancing.”

Imogen’s attendant was cousin Elisha Curtis, 11, whose mum Elsa, 43, – Elinor’s sister – was also an attendant in 1981.
