BILL Clinton said he “couldn’t be prouder” of his daughter after attending her graduation ceremony in Oxford on Saturday.

The former US President and his wife, former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, were seen leaving the Macdonald Randolph Hotel in Beaumont Street earlier in the day.

They were spotted with their bodyguards walking through Radcliffe Square and across the High Street, stopping the park and ride bus so they could cross the road.

Their 34-year-old daughter Chelsea was presented with a doctorate in international relations at a ceremony at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford. Ms Clinton previously completed an MPhil in the same subject at the University in 2003 having completed a BA in history at Stanford in the US.

Her father was a Rhodes scholar at University College from 1968 to 1970.
