A TAXI driver in his 20s has been taken to the John Radcliffe hospital after being involved in a crash on Oxpens Road.
The collision occurred when the man was driving his black Hackney carriage northbound on Oxpens Road and a woman driving a Ford Fiesta pulled out from St Thomas Street.
Our correspondent, Keeley Rodgers, said the taxi driver was taken to hospital for back injuries and the vehicles have now been cleared from the road.
Two Thames Valley Police cars attended the scene.
