Klezmer music, Israeli food and Jewish crafts will take over Broad Street on Sunday at the city’s first Jewish Celebration Fair.
The event, from noon to 4pm, will celebrate the ancient Jewish holiday of Lag Baomer, and Oxford Chabbad Society says it is the first of its kind in the city.
Klezmer band ‘She’Koyokh’ and harpist Fien Barnett-Neefs will perform.
The Oxford Jewish Heritage Exhibition, sponsored by the Heritage Lottery Fund, will also be on show, telling the history of the Jews of Oxford from medieval times.
