Bonfire spread to fence

THE fire service was called to a bonfire which had spread to a garden fence in West Oxfordshire.

A crew from Charlbury attended the small fire in Shipton Road, Ascott-under-Wychwood, at 7.45pm on Sunday.

The fire had spread to six garden fence panels.

Obviously some Muppet had left it unattended, hope they were charged for the call-out.
Anyone with any common sense wouldn't leave a fire unattended, and would have a hosepipe, or bucket of water available, just in case.
