MEMBERS of the public are invited to find out about diabetes, and research into the rapidly growing condition, at Oxford's Churchill Hospital.

The event, Unravelling the Mysteries of Diabetes, will take place at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism on the Headington hospital site at 7pm on Wednesday, June 4.

The event will include information on spotting the signs of the condition and details of the centre’s research.

Growing up, coming to terms with, and living through the complications of diabetes. This is what the medical profession really need to come to terms with if they are ever going to support us.
