THE Oxford Festival of Nature will be held around Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park next month.
The festival kicks off with a talk about hedgehogs at 6pm on Friday, June 6, at Cutteslowe Community Centre, followed later by a bat walk.
At 5am on the Saturday, residents are invited to hear the dawn chorus in the park.
Other events for the day include a chance to discover small park wildlife with the Oxfordshire Mammal Group at 8.30am and crayfish trapping at 9.30am.
A ‘wild fair’ will run from noon to 4.30pm, including birds of prey and tips on helping wildlife in the garden.
The event is being organised by the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust.
