Protesters supporting those who received infected NHS blood transfusions in the 1970s and ’80s demonstrated outside David Cameron’s constituency office.
Organiser Dave Leadbetter, from Witney, has haemophilia and contracted Hepatitis C from an infected blood transfusion.The father-of-three said: “Once you have it, you just live with it.”
About 30 people met outside the office in Witney High Street at 10am yesterday.
PM and Witney MP Mr Cameron said his sympathies were with people affected, adding that work on the issue was ongoing.
