THE county is bracing itself for more rain after a severe weather warning was issued for the area.

The Met Office issued the yellow warning for rain this morning, and is predicting up to 30mm in three hours or less.

The heavy rainfall, which will include local thundery downpours, is due to a "deeply unstable airmass", according to the meteorological group.

There is a risk of surface water flooding as a result.

A spokesman for the Met Office said West Oxfordshire was most likely to be affected.
