Oxford Golf Club in Hill Top Road will play host to a charity golf day on June 5.

Some 13 teams of four people are expected to take part and QPR boss Harry Redknapp has donated the trophy he won at Oxford Stadium in 2007 as the winner’s trophy.

There will also be an auction featuring prizes such as a box at Ascot, an England shirt signed by Paul Gascoigne and another signed by Steven Gerrard.

Through sponsorships so far the event has raised in the region of £5,000 towards the campaign.
