POLICE officers have cordoned off the playing fields in Long Hanborough this evening.
Access to the skate park, playground, field and sports pavilion in the West Oxfordshire village has been restricted by blue and white police tape at every entrance.
One resident was prevented from walking through the area on his way to his girlfriend’s house at about 4pm.
He said: "There were a few police cars near the pavilion, which was cordoned off.
"There’s a lot of people outside wondering what’s going on.
"I got home and social media was busy with people asking what is going on."
Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance have not yet responded to Oxford Mail inquiries regarding the incident.
