THE OXFORD Pride festival is set to end with a parade through the city centre this weekend.
The 10-day arts and cultural festival – celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgeneder life in the county – was launched on Friday and is due to end on Sunday.
The launch event at the Castle Complex had live entertainment and speeches along with a barbecue and cocktails and events have run throughout the week.
The festival highlight is the Saturday parade which is due to start at noon in Cornmarket Street. There will also be entertainment and stalls in Oxpens Field from 12pm to 8pm.
Festival director Mazz Image, pictured above with Oxford Pride chairman Dave Legg, said: “It is going to be a fabulous parade. It is going to be a wonderful Pride.”
