Comedian Al Murray made a surprise appearance at the opening of the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum yesterday.
Mr Murray’s father Ingram curated one of the displays.
On the day he said on Twitter: “Going today [to] opening of @SOFOtrust for Father’s Day, to check out dad’s efforts.”
The £3.2m purpose-built premises has been built by the Oxfordshire Museum, in Woodstock.
It houses a number of military collections, including from the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, the Oxfordshire Yeomanry and The Rifles.
