WHEATLEY Road in Garsington is closed following a crash involving a moped rider.
A police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 1.30pm after a man came off his moped on Wheatley Road.
“There were no other vehicles involved.
“The road is currently closed and officers are still at the scene.”
An ambulance spokeswoman said: “We were called at 1.23pm to a road traffic incident involving a motorcyclist.
“One male patient in his late teens was taken by land ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
“His injuries were serious, but not life threatening.”
An air ambulance had also been sent to the scene, she added.
Wheatley Road is closed both ways between The Green / The Hill and Cuddesdon Road.
