Sporting day proves real winner on and off the pitch

AN Oxford United footballer presented certificates to children with special needs at a charity’s Olympic sports day.

Midfielder Callum O’Dowda gave awards to about 50 youngsters at KEEN Oxford’s annual sports day at New College Sports Ground, in St Cross Road, Oxford, on Saturday.

Youngsters took part in dancing, football, relay races and tennis with the help of about 50 volunteer students from Oxford’s two universities.
