Police hunt man who hit woman on a bus

This is the man police want to talk to in connection with a fight on a bus.

A man is alleged to have punched a woman in the head on a bus from Grove to Oxford and a member of the public, a 24-year-old man, intervened at 8.15pm on Sunday, June 1, The member of the public was then allegedly threatened and assaulted by the man. Other passengers then intervened and the man was thrown off the bus. He was last seen walking towards Abingdon town centre from Fairacres retail park.

Anyone with any information should phone Thames Valley Police on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555111.

Indeed, we're always being told that we're being monitored "x amount of times a day" but the quality of the images is always like this. (and this is probably the higher end of the scale as it's actually in colour) These cameras either need to be upgraded or removed, at the moment they just aren't fit for purpose.

I suspect as ever the contract went to the lowest bidder, there's a reason they're cheap. Sorry, but from that picture it could be sponge bob square pants!
