The £100m redevelopment plans for the West Way Shopping Centre in Botley have been given a positive assessment by an influential group of architects.
The South East Regional Design Panel, which is made up of 26 industry experts in planning and architecture, said it supports the “main planning moves” behind the scheme such as creating a new square.
Doric Properties wants to knock down the existing West Way centre and replace it with a new shopping centre, a cinema, hotel and student flats.
