A missing man last seen in Headington five days ago has been found safe and well in South Wales.
David Goodwin, 49, left the Churchill Hospital at midday on Tuesday and had not been seen since.
Police were concerned because he reportedly requires regular medical attention.
But the force this afternoon said he had been found in Newport and has been taken to hospital to be checked over.
It was originally thought he may have been travelling towards Wiltshire or Avon and Somerset.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “The force would like to thank the public, media and search teams for their help.”
