Crowds give big 'yeah' to sixth charity festival

HUNDREDS of people flocked to Abingdon Market Place for the sixth annual Yeah Baby! music festival.
According to organisers James Phillpott and Fleur Tinson, who founded the charity the Amber Phillpott Trust, more than £6,000 is thought to have been raised on Saturday.
The couple founded the event after losing their 18-month-year-old daughter Amber to acute myeloid leukaemia in 2011.
Mr Phillpott said: “We had [former Supergrass band member] Mick Quinn come down with his band, as well as Luciee Marie Closier from The Voice.”
Mr Phillpott also performed with his band The Benbows.He lives with his wife, daughter Daisy, seven, and baby son Barny in Winterborne Road.
