A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following a suspected road rage incident in the centre of Oxford.

Thames Valley Police spokesman Lucy Billen said one man suffered minor injuries following the assault, which happened about midday at the junction of Walton Street and Beaumont Street.

She said one of the two men may have been in a white van but police do not yet have further details.

The man arrested on suspicion of assault is currently in custody.
