No decision has been made on who Oxford Stadium should be leased or sold to.

Josh Garside, a spokesman for estate agent CBRE – which is handling the marketing of the stadium on behalf of its owners GRA Acquisitions – said a decision has not been made and did not respond when the Oxford Mail asked him when one would be made.

Plans to demolish the greyhound stadium and replace it with housing were rejected by Oxford City Council earlier this year.

The stadium closed in December 2012.

It is quite obvious they are creating so many hurdles for would be buyers that they are hoping they will lose interest and then say there are no buyers, demolish it so we can make a stinking profit on homes majority of people don't want built there.

Very much into plan b as far as the current owners are. Any purchaser needs to make an offer they cannot refuse. Another two or three years of this and the renovation costs will be massive. End of story unless the right offer is made.
