A YELLOW weather warning is still in place for Oxfordshire as the county is hit by heavy rain and high winds because of Hurricane Bertha.

The Met Office has said we could see gusts of up to 40-50mph in some places later today.

The other warning for rain has now been lifted.

The other is for rain and Met Office chief forecaster Eddy Carroll said: "This is a particularly volatile situation. Given the unseasonable nature of the weather this could be sufficient to disrupt transport and make outdoor activities dangerous."
