Richard Barnes, 36, of Wolsey Road, Cutteslowe, Oxford, admitted causing damage worth £200 to a police cell van belonging to Kent Police on February 2 and failing to surrender to custody at Folkestone Police Station on February 2. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Calvin Bonney, 41, of Swinburne Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the sight or hearing of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress at the Co-op in Iffley Road, Oxford, on July 5. Fined £55 and told to pay £50 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  4. Patrick Keenan, 29, of Field Avenue, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted stealing a bottle of vodka worth £9.30 from a Tesco in Cowley Road, Oxford, on July 10. Community order made with four-week curfew requirement and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  5. Liam Murray, 19, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her at SGM in Windmill Road, Headington, on May 26. Given a community order with a supervision requirement and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
  6. Beverley O’Neill, 52, of Kiln Lane, Oxford, admitted speeding at 61mph on a 50mph road, namely the A34 near Wytham, Oxford, on December 5. Fined £85 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  7. John Rexter, 41, of Cotman Close, Abingdon, admitted speeding at 36mph on a 30mph road, namely Drayton Road, Abingdon on December 6. Fined £35 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  8. Trevor Robinson, 38, of Pound Lane, Cholsey, near Wallingford, admitted speeding at 55mph on a 30mph road, namely Shooters Hill, Pangbourne, Berkshire, on January 11. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and licence endorsed with six points.
  9. Susan Gibbs, 56, of Mandelbrote Drive, Oxford, admitted speeding at 60mph on a 50mph road, namely the A34 at Wytham near Oxford on December 6. Fined £235 and ordered to pay a £24 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  10. Margaret Curtis, 77, of Eagles, Faringdon, admitted speeding at 35mph on a 30mph road, namely Grove Road, Grove, on December 6. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge. Licence endorsed with three points.
  11. Craig Maroney, 24, of Moorbank, Blackbird Leys, was convicted or assaulting a woman by beating her at Spencer Crescent, Oxford, on April 1. Community order given, requiring participation in a Building Better Relationships course for 30 days. Retraining order given against victim until further notice. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge, £400 costs.

  13. Anthony Wilkes, 64, of Hinksey Hill, Oxford, admitted speeding at 72mph on the 50mph A34 at Botley interchange on December 5. Fined £500 and ordered to pay a £50 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months for repeated offending.

  18. Wendy Grieve, 29, of Mascord Road, Banbury, admitted assaulting three people in George Street, Banbury, on May 25. Admitted criminal damage after destroying a pair of glasses and a T-shirt worth £200 at The Wheatsheaf in Banbury on May 25. Also admitted assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty in High Street, Banbury, on May 25. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to complete activity and supervision requirements. Told to pay a total of £200 compensation and a £80 victims’ surcharge.
  19. Russell Brannan, 29, of Kirtlington Park, Kirtlington, admitted speeding at 63mph in a 40mph zone on the A41 in Bicester on November 25. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with four points.
  20. Hassan Jumah, 26, of Reliance Way, Cowley, convicted of speeding at 82mph in a 50mph zone on the M40 near Great Milton on December 6. Fined £235 and told to pay a £24 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with five points.
  21. Peter Murton, 33, of Stanton Harcourt Road, Witney, admitted criminal damage after damaging a window of a white Citroen Nemo van in Witney on February 26. Given a two-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
