  2. Christopher Corfield, 53, of Janaway, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted speeding at 39mph in a 30mph zone in Bayswater Road, Oxford, on May 15. Also admitted speeding at 39mph in a BMW in a 30mph zone in Witney Road, Standlake, on October 30. Fined a total of £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £170 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
  3. Caroline Evans, 50, of Thorney Leys, Witney, admitted speeding at 36mph in a 30mph zone in Witney Road, Standlake, on December 10. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  4. Cynthia Golding, 60, of Oxbridge Place, Abingdon, convicted of speeding at 38mph in Wootton Road, Abingdon, on December 19. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  5. Michael Simms, 49, of Heather Place, Marston, Oxford, admitted speeding at 65mph in a 50mph zone on the Eastern Bypass Road, Oxford, on November 2. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  6. Chris Wild, 44, of The Green, Combe, admitted speeding at 39mph in a 30mph zone in Worcester Road, Chipping Norton, on October 19. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three penalty points.

 

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

  1. Grzegorz Zajac, 31, of London Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Old High Street, Headington, Oxford, on July 18. Had 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 14-month driving ban and told to pay a £224 fine, a £22 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
  2. Colin Raworth, 58, of New High Street, Headington, Oxford, admitted begging in a public place in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on July 9, and Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on May 22. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on July 25. Fined £170 and told to pay £30 costs.
  3. Paul Dodd, 46, Inkerman Close, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating at the One Stop Shop in Wootton Road, Abingdon, on June 26. Fined £135 and told to pay a £20 victims' surcharge and £35 costs.
  4. Jose Phillips, 53, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Magdalen Road, Oxford, on August 2. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims' surcharge.
  5. Matthew Rogers, 40, of Oxford Road, Steeple Aston, Bicester, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when suspected of having driven a vehicle and committed an offence in Walton Street, Oxford, on July 20. Given a 12-month driving ban. Fined £990 and told to pay a £99 victims' surcharge and £95 costs.
  6. John Parkin, 31, of Arndale Beck, Didcot, admitted stealing an order of hot food, a drink and a hot goods delivery bag worth £69.56 belonging to Domino's Pizza on May 17. Fined £200 and told to pay £69.56 compensation, a £20 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
  7. Craig Honey, 19, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on May 2. Community order made with 125-hour unpaid work requirement. Told to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
  8. Peter Searle, 67, of New Close Farm Road, Henton, Chinnor, admitted drink-driving in New Close Farm Road, Henton, Chinnor, on July 20. Had 90 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 24-month driving ban and told to pay a £175 fine, a £20 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
  9. Mikel Silva, 18, of Freelands Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on May 2. Community order made with 125-hour unpaid work requirement. Told to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims' surcharge and £85 costs.
  10. Robert Benfield, 18, of Coopers Gate, Banbury, convicted of travelling on a railway without a valid ticket on February 11. Fined £200 and told to pay £4.70 compensation, a £20 victims' surcharge and £125 costs.
  11. Rowanne Davidson, 18, of Keble Road, Bicester, admitted travelling on a railway without a valid ticket on March 11. Fined £135 and told to pay £3.10 compensation, a £20 victims' surcharge, and £125 costs.
  12. Dean Fletcher, 34, of Dairy Ground, Kings Sutton, Banbury, admitted travelling on a railway without a valid ticket on January 24. Fined £165 and told to pay £4.70 compensation, a £20 victims' surcharge and £125 costs.
  13. Stephen Cooney, 45, of Henry Taunt Close, Headington, Oxford, admitted stealing meat, worth £33.01, from Sainsbury's in Banbury Road, Oxford, on March 1. Community order made with six-month supervision requirement and told to pay £33.01 compensation and a £60 victims' surcharge.
  14. Kazimierz Mrozowicz, 30, of Bartholomew Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of, or provoke, unlawful violence in Templars Shopping Centre, Between Towns Road, Cowley, Oxford, on July 18. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and fined £100.
  15. Darren Phipps, 33, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Bernwood Road, Headington, Oxford, on May 6. Restraining order made to prevent contact with victim until January 31, 2015. Fined £150 and told to pay £100 compensation, a £20 victims' surcharge and £400 costs.
