A man has been arrested in connection with a collision involving a 50-year-old man and a car.
The man suffered injuries to his knee, ankle, hands and hip following the collision on Saturday, August 16, at about 3.45pm.
The incident involved a silver Nissan Almera and happened at the junction of Newland Road and Dashwood Road, Banbury.
Police said the driver was holding a small child aged about one on his lap at the time.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault, failing to stop at a road traffic collision, causing bodily harm by wanton or furious driving, driving a motor vehicle in a manner likely to cause danger to passengers and resisting arrest.
He has been released on bail until September 25.
