A MACHINE caused a fire in an Oxford bike shop last night.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 7.55pm to the blaze at Electric Bike Sales in Magdalen Street after being alerted by smoke alarms.
Two fire engines attended and firefighters put out the flames, leaving the building at 9.40pm.
A fire service spokesman said it had been caused by a machine, which was the only part of the shop damaged.
