As the lights came down, it wasn’t just the magic of cinema that was bringing things to life.
Instead ghostly ghouls stalked the stalls of Juene Street’s Ultimate Picture Palace in Oxford yesterday.
The performance Strange Factories combined film and theatre, with startling eerie characters and placing the audience at the heart of the horror.
Producer Lucy Harrigan, who also starred in Strange Factories, said: “We believe it’s a powerful experience for our audience. It’s been a really big journey for me.”
The production followed the story of a writer who tries to find the ending to his story but delves into the unknown, haunted by visions and dreams.
