DIDCOT rocked out over the weekend to raise money for a good cause.

Concerts took place across the town as part of the annual Oxjam festival.

Organised to raise money for Cowley-based charity Oxfam, the event features hundreds of fundraising gigs across the UK during October.

Myron Edwards, from Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, near Wallingford, performed at The Wallingford Arms in Broadway on Friday.

The 57-year-old, who played a mixture of pop and rock acoustic cover versions, said: “I am a semi-regular at the open mic sessions and if it is in a good cause, then so much the better.

“This is the first year I have taken part in Oxjam and I would certainly do it again if asked.”
