HOLLYWOOD star Morgan Freeman revealed to Oxford students the best advice he’s ever received came from a train conductor.
In an event at the Oxford Union debating chamber, the Oscar winner said “never look for trouble” was his most valuable advice.
The event was the first in a series with ‘legendary actors’ organised by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation in partnership with Oxford University.
Oxford Union members queued for up to four hours to listen to the Hollywood actor.
Freeman discussed the issues of racism and sexism in Hollywood.
On the suggestion that Hollywood is sexist he said: “Streep, Blanchett, Roberts, Thurman, Kidman… no I don’t think there’s an unfair portrayal of women in Hollywood.”
He closed Tuesday’s discussion with this advice: “Every night I pray ‘Lord help me’. Nobody else can.”
