TWO robberies in Oxford may be linked, police have said.
In one attack on Monday night already reported by the Oxford Mail, three men in their late teens or early 20s surrounded a 28-year-old man in Quarry Hollow, Headington, one of them punched him and demanded money.
Earlier that evening, at about 6.45pm, a 61-year-old man was walking his dog in Bury Knowle Park when he was attacked by a gang of three matching a similar description.
One man demanded money from him then punched and kicked him, leaving him with a fractured jaw, and threatened to hurt his dog.
They stole the man’s wallet and ran off. He was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital but has since been discharged.
All the suspect are white men, in their late teens or early 20s and wearing beanie hats.
