A COWLEY Road shopkeeper was injured in a robbery yesterday, police said today.

A man entered the shop – which police said has no name – and got into an “altercation” in which the shopkeeper received a cut above his eye at about 3.30pm, Thames Valley Police said.

He left without taking any money and the shopkeeper was taken to hospital.

He is described as white, in his 30s, of medium build, about 5ft5ins, clean shaven and wearing a dark blue hat, jogging trousers and a black top.
