A young girl with brain cancer brought some cheer to other young patients at Oxford Children’s Hospital with a delivery of Easter eggs.
Mikayla Beames, of Childrey, near Wantage, has been battling the condition since the age of four and decided she wanted to help others in her position by starting her Team Mikayla charity.
The brave eight-year-old asked fellow pupils at Wantage CofE Primary School to donate Easter eggs and yesterday she took a haul of 50 chocolate gifts to the Headington hospital with mum Natasha.
