A solicitor from Thame will be sworn in as the new High Sheriff of Oxfordshire today.
Tom Birch Reynardson will take on the oldest secular office in the country outside the monarchy at Oxford Crown Court.
Mr Reynardson takes on the role from current High Sheriff Tony Stratton. The father-of-four is a trustee of the Comité Maritime Internationale Charitable Trust which backs education in international law.
