ACTIVISTS turned their clothes inside out to support a national ethical clothing campaign.

Fashion Revolution Day was set up last year to commemorate the victims of the Rana Plaza factory collapse in 2013, when 1,133 workers were killed in Bangladesh.

The day pushes for better health and safety measures in clothes factories, along with greater transparency in the supply chain.

Oxford organiser Elizabeth Brown said: “It’s a simple question. It’s a wonderful, fun way to be curious and more aware.”

Campaigners including Lord Mayor Mohammed Abbasi met in the Mayor’s Parlor. Mr Abbasi wore his ceremonial robe backwards and gave a speech about improving safety measures.
