THE Didcot community continued to pay tribute to the three murder victims yesterday.

Anaiya Turner, four, and mum Seanne Turner, 33, tied three ribbon rosettes to pay respect to Derin Jordon, six, who was murdered with her mother Jan Jordon, 48, and Philip Howard, 44, at their home in Vicarage Road.

Ms Turner said: “It’s a shock to the whole community and it’s not something you expect to happen.

“We followed the community spirit. Everyone in Didcot has done something, the ribbons are all over and Anaiya asked if she could put one up.”

Spots around the town, including Vicarage Road and Ladygrove Children’s Centre, have also been decorated with flowers and teddy bears as the community continues to mourn the tragic death of the family.

Another tribute at the scene said: “Dear Jan and Dezzy, I am truly devastated and lost for words.

“Jan, you were such a good friend to me and helped me through a horrible time this year. You are brave, beautiful, kind and caring. I will miss you every single day and will never forget you.”

Another note with the same tribute said: “To Dezzy, I was so happy to have been your friend, from Amelia. I hope you are ok xxx, you are my best friend.”

A cuddly toy with the message from one little princess to another said: “May the angels keep you safe, sleep tight.”
